Machong has built up multi-level and multiform supply network mainly composed of big power grid and owns 2 110KV transformer substations.

Machong transformer substation has 3 31500KVA transformers. 3 50000KVA transformers of newly built Xinsha Port 110KV transformer substations have also been put into use. The water supply system has been connected with the water supply network of Dongguan. The daily volume of water supply may reach 0.15 million tons. The town plans to develop the existing system into a two-way water supply network with daily water supply capacity of 0.3 million tons.
